In the Willingen Bike World, you can experience the whole spectrum of mountain biking: gentle family tours with routes specially designed for kids, challenging technical trails for experts or enjoyable tours for e-bikers who take every mountain with a smile.

A multitude of varied tours lead through Sauerland and Upland with its hills and mountains, over open plateaus and deep forests, through charming valleys and green meadows. A total of 12 mountain bike tours between 16 and 62 kilometers are waiting for you to take to the trails. Many of them are fully signposted and part of the Bike Arena Sauerland.

The freeride course is fast and action-packed. If you want to slowly get to grips with the series of jumps and berms, you can do so on the practice course behind the ice rink.

Absolute experts and professionals will get their money’s worth on the World Cup downhill course. In 2005, this course, together with the four-cross course and the cross-country course, was the venue for the MTB World Cup. Since then, the best downhillers in the world have met every year in June at the “Wheels of Speed” contest as part of the Bike Festival to determine the fastest rider on the downhill run from Ettelsberg.
